News 2014 from Zalazar Cairn Terrier

Cairn Terrier Zalazar Kong Arthur Today on a dog show in Moscow, Russia, Zalazar Kong Arthur went BOB with CAC. With this CAC he closed the title Champion of Russia (4 CAC) plus Champion RKF. Judge Walther Jungblut. D
This by the way also makes him Danish champion :o)
Big thanks to Galina for showing him and taking such good care of him. I hope he will leave some lovely little ¨Arthurs¨ in Russia! And as he is King they will be Princes and Princesses ;o)

BIS Puppy Zalazar New Dawn

August 30th we went to the Cairn Terrier 90th anniversary show in Silkeborg. We participated with the two puppies Zalazar New Wave / Lui & Zalazar New Dawn / Dawny and Zalazar Kong Arthur og Zalazar Mai Tai.
Judge was Ann Waugh, Kennel Tribannon, GB, who came for Sue Dolan, who had become ill.

First dog in the ring was Lui with his owner John. Both were debutants but they did very well and Ann Waugh was very fond of Lui, who finished no.2 with SL and a good critique. Then it was Dawny's turn and she was just a little more experienced and ended up as BIS puppy. Dawny is after Thestrup's It Takes Two Baby & Kramer's Be The One That I Want. Arthur came into the ring in intermediate class, where he was placed #2 with ex and ck.

Finally it was Maia's turn and she behaved reasonably well, showede nice and won her class and ended up being 2. best bitch with CC.

The evening ended with a lovely dinner party and we are already looking forward to the 100th anniversary in 2024.

Cairn Terrier Zalazar Kong Arthur Today at the DKK national show in Aarhus we showed 3 dogs under judge Jessie Borregaard Madsen, DK. First on the grass was Zalazar New Dawn / Dawny who received an excellent critique and was 2nd best puppy. Next was Zalazar King Arthur, who won his class and finished as 4th best male with CC.

Last dog on the grass was Zalazar Mai Tai in Junior class and got a fantastic critic and excellent third.

Wonderful news from Finland!!!
At the "World Terrier Show" Zalazar Komtesse Viola was placed as best bitch no. 3 with CAC under judge Sassa Stenroos. With this certificate she has become Finnish Champion. Congratulations to owner Ekaterina Bulgakova.

Lovely day at the National show in Svendborg with company of good friends.
Maia ( Zalazar Mai Tai ) got ex and went no. 3 in a large junior class.
Arthur ( Zalazar Kong Arthur ) once again got the reserve CC as 3rd best male and our baby, Topper (Zalazar On Top) trotted his way to BIS 1 baby. Sunday 13/7 we will bring Stacy instead, as 2 days at a show may well be hard ..... especially when one is a little puppy....

What a lovely sunny day at DTK winner show, judge Enrique Maté Durán. Stacy went BOB baby and BIS 3 Baby. Arthur won his class with ck and ended as Best Male 2 with reserv cc.
Maia won double junior cc and ended up Best bitch 2 with cc. So we are very happy with the outcome of the shows over the holiday weekend

Stacy went 2. Best baby after a 2 months older halfsister. Arthur won his class with ck and ended up 5th best male. Maia showed nicely and was no. 2 with ck in her class. She also ended up 5th best bitch. We went for a nice long walk afterwards

What a wonderful day we had at the FDA show in Stepping. We brought with us a baby puppy Stacy ( Zalazar On Stage ), Arthur ( Zalazar Kong Arthur ) and Maia ( Zalazar Mai Tai ). And what a debut for Stacy ....... she just loved being on stage and ended as Best in Show Baby. Arthur got excellent 2 & dog cc went to a son from Zalazar Goes Wild. Maia was walking nice most of the time and went best bitch with cc and ended as BOB on her first real show. Breed judge & BIS baby judge was Tinna Grubbe

Zalazar Cairn Terrier

Mette attended Danish Kennel Club's Open show in Årslev with 2 baby puppies Zalazar On Top & Zalazar New Dawn. Zalazar King Arthur in intermidiate & Zalazar Mai Tai in Junior class.

It was quite windy and cold, but we had nice company of Ena and later Minna. Ena helped showing the dogs.

The results were as follows: Best Baby and shortlisted in the main ring, Zalazar On Top. Zalazar Mai Tai went BOB beating Arthur and she finished in fine style with BIG 1.

Breed & group judge was Kirstin Nilsson who was very nice to the dogs, both large and small.
